VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in Vincennes for a new Texas Roadhouse.
Texas Roadhouse is one a few businesses to stake claim in Vincennes recently.
Across the street, a Marshalls and Hobby Lobby arrived in Vincennes within the last year.
Mayor Joe Yochum said that adding these businesses is great for attracting people outside of Vincennes.
“If you got the amenities that people want like the shopping and the dining, it makes it more attractive for people to live here,” Yochum said.
Yochum said that area of Vincennes is still looking to add more. He hinted that a Cluver’s could potentially come to the city this fall.
