TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Disciplinary action could be taken against a Terre Haute Police Officer seen on door camera footage kicking a dog last November.
The unnamed THPD Sergeant seen in that video could face a 10-day suspension.
The Terre Haute Police Department Merit Commission voted to bring up the matter in an executive session that will be held on February 10th. This meeting is not open to the public.
No formal action will be taken at that meeting as formal action can only be taken at public meetings.
THPD Police Chief Shawn Keen and THPD Merit Commission members were unable to comment as this is a pending legal matter.
