VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An Indiana program is helping connect college students with mentorship opportunities in the Wabash Valley.
Engage Mentoring launched the initiative with the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and Ivy Tech Community College.
“We are headquartered in Indianapolis,” Engage Mentoring Founder and CEO Alison Martin said. “We’ve had a statewide partnership with the Indiana Chamber for a number of years and as we’ve been growing this program, we’ve been aligning with partners that really make sense. We’re just so excited to offer the program here to Terre Haute and the companies in this area.”
Tuesday they invited 75 women from West Central Indiana to learn more about the program.
“In this program, participants are able to access mentors on the basis of topics they want to learn more about and then take advantage of supplemental learning offered in group coaching, group mentorship, and leadership development courses that we offer along the way.”
Engage Mentoring has testimonials from others who have taken part in the program online.
