TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Clothing store inside Haute City Center is celebrating a bigger location and the ability to display more merchandise.
Glik’s has moved into the space that used to house “Buckle” inside the mall. Thursday, the store held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate.
The new location is double the size of Glik’s previous storefront. The retailer says the added space will allow them to offer an expanded women’s section, as well as add a men’s clothing section.
We’re excited. The team here had the women’s (clothing), they really wanted to add men’s (clothing) here to the concept. So they pushed us to add it and this space became available so we jumped on it. We’re happy to be here.
Glik’s Vice President Jim Glik
The Company says they are grateful for the community’s support.
People were very excited to come on in and shop with us. Yesterday (Wednesday) was our second day open with our soft opening and this store came out to be number one in the company. We’re a 125-year-old business and we just made it to 70 stores and this was our number one yesterday. So people are really taking to this store well.
Buyer for Glik’s, Jeremy Glik
Glik’s first came to Terre Haute in 2019.
