TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local counseling center now has a new space to serve its clients.
The FSA Counseling Center in Terre Haute recently moved from its location on Wabash Avenue to a new location at 400 Poplar Street.
The center held a ribbon-cutting celebration on Friday.
Executive Director Emilee Roberts says in addition to more space, the new location also has more parking and visibility, something she thinks will be great for the community.
“I think it’s no surprise to anyone that mental health is a high need, both in our area and all over the world as well, so to be able to be a non-profit mental health organization and offer affordable, and accessible, mental health services is really important,” says Roberts.
The center is also marking 160 years in 2022 and will have a celebration on November 18.
