TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A two-car accident Saturday morning caused one car to hit J Ford’s Black Angus restaurant in downtown Terre Haute.
According to Lt. Michael Ellerman with the Terre Haute Police Department, a black Kia was traveling north on 7th St. and failed to stop at a red light and in doing so drove into the path of a gold Impala.
The Impala then struck the Kia and continued into the J Ford restaurant causing damage to the building.

Ellerman said, after speaking with officers who were on scene it was determined that the driver of the black Kia was listed at fault.
No injuries were reported by anyone involved in the accident and no citations were issued to either driver.
The Terre Haute Police Department cannot comment on the level of damage done to J Fords.
WTWO called the restaurant and they said they will be open as usual Saturday at 5:00 PM.
