TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A yearly tradition made its return to Wigwam Skate and Event Center on Sunday to ring in the New Year.
New Year’s Eve is a big day for Wigwam Skate and Event Center as they host their annual extravaganza and kid’s confetti countdown. The confetti countdown includes a balloon drop, kiddie cocktails, tons of crafts, and an ice cream sundae bar.
This is a great way for kids to get in on the New Year’s Eve activities without having to stay up way past their bedtimes.
Robert Kramer is the president of Wigwam Skate and Event Center, and he says it is always a great thing when they have more than just skating.
“Anytime we can elevate an event it is really cool. Today we have prizes and giveaways, so it is really a fun, fun event for the kids,” said Kramer.
He also wanted to add how much he enjoys seeing everyone around the holidays.
“These family have so many options when it comes to things to do around the holidays. It is truly a blessing to see all these people choose us for their entertain needs for the holidays,” added Kramer.
Wigwam Skate and Event Center’s extravaganza will take place from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
