TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An argument at a Terre Haute bar led to gunfire and an arrest.
That’s according to the Terre Haute Police Department, who said the incident occurred at The Cabin Pub and Grub on Hulman Street just after midnight on Tuesday.

Investigating officers would learn that the suspect, 50-year-old Marshall Randolph, of Terre Haute, had gotten into an argument with staff and other patrons of the bar. As the argument escalated, Randolph reportedly physically assaulted a woman and then brandished a handgun and fired it into the ceiling.
Randolph then left the building, but was followed by one of the other people inside. Police said that’s when Randolph fired the gun a second time in a way that endangered the person who had followed him.
Officers caught up to Randolph in the area and identified him as the suspect. Police said he was taken into custody without further incident.
Randolph was arrested on preliminary charges of attempted aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, pointing a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.
THPD Detectives and crime scene technicians are investigating the incident. THPD said more information could be released in the future.
