FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Easter is right around the corner and many local businesses and organizations around the Wabash Valley are preparing with Easter Egg Hunts and events.
From breakfasts to adult Easter egg hunts to adoption events and more, there are plenty of fun activities and community events to attend this year. A list has been complied with the times, dates, and locations of the events. For more details, check out the linked websites.

- It’s Raining Cats and Dogs EGG-Stravaganza & Clay County Humane Society Adoption Event
- What: Age group 2-5 will start, followed by 6-9 year olds, and followed up by a hunt for the 12-15 year olds. (Groups may change based on attendance) Please bring your own basket or bags. Clay County Humane Society will also be in attendance with dogs that are up for adoption! Crafts and treats are a part of the day too! The Egg Hunt is a free community event, we are just asking guests to bring a donation for the Clay County Humane Society. Items should include:
- Dog food (Diamond or any kind), Sensitive Stomach
- Purina Cat, Kitten Chow
- Sensitive Stomach Cat Food
- Cat Litter
- Cleaning Supplies- paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent
- Dog treats, tough dog toys
- Kitten formula and bottles
- Gerber chicken or turkey baby food
- Where: Exotic Feline Rescue Center | 2221 E Ashboro Rd, Center Point, IN
- When: Saturday, March 16 | 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

- What: Easter Egg Hunt for ages 8 and under

- Marshall Easter Egg & Scavenger Hunt / Photos with the Easter Bunny
- What: Photos with the Easter Bunny start at the Gazebo at 10:30 a.m. – come early to avoid the rush and get your photo taken!
- Where: Marshall Courthouse Lawn | 123 S 6th St, Marshall, IL
- When: Saturday, March 23 | 11:00 a.m.
- Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt
- What: The Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual city Easter Egg hunt. The event is free and open to the public. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to March 30. For more information, call the Torner Community Center at 812-232-0147

- Sycamore Winery Adult Easter Egg Hunt
- What: Join for the annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt Challenge! Grab some friends and your walking shoes to gather prize eggs around our 60-acre property. visit the winery anytime between 12-6pm on Saturday, March 30. Stop by the tasting room bar for information and then head on out to stroll around the property searching for prize eggs. When you find an egg, bring it back up to the bar to claim your prize. You will not know the prize until you bring it up to the bar (it could be anything from merchandise to drinks, to food, and more)! Find one of the golden eggs to win a big prize. One egg per person can be found and redeemed.
