TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute residents have a new, fun activity to enjoy with family and friends — mini golf.
On Saturday, Sandbox Social is opening Lucky Putt Terre Haute inside Haute City Center. Hours will be 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and Fridays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to midnight.
Owner Zack Johnson said he’s excited to bring this new experience to the community because this is something you’d only see in big cities. Johnson also noted mini golf is easy to understand and fun for all ages.
Johnson explained what people may expect when families visit Lucky Putt Terre Haute.
“It’s high-tech,” Johnson said. “It does all the tracking for you, but you’re still hitting the golf ball and we feel like it’s set up in a way that’s pretty intuitive for all ages and all abilities to understand, and it’s a lot of fun. It gets really competitive pretty fast.”
Lucky Putt Terre Haute is opening on the same day Sandbox Social is opening its new E-Bash arcade.
Johnson expects a lot of people this opening weekend and asks everyone to be patient and have fun.
