TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — This summer, Indiana will have its last chance to see a demonstration by the Air Force’s A-10 C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team.
This year will be the team’s final season and their last demonstration in Indiana will take place at the Terre Haute Air Show.
This year’s Terre Haute Air Show takes place on June 1 and 2 with tickets now on sale for $30 dollars. Children ages 12 and under can get in free.
Marketing director Lindy Linebaugh said the show will have an amazing line-up of performers in the air as well as static displays so you can see aircraft up close. Linebuagh encourages folks to take the opportunity to see the A-10 team.
“It is an incredible display of airpower,” Linebaugh said. “They perform precision aerial maneuvers while highlighting the mission and professionalism of the Air Force, so they show off their guns. They do simulative dive. It’s so, it’s so amazing and we encourage everyone with the opportunity to go watch the A-10 one final time.”
