TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun says plans are in the works to address a local intersection.
He posted on the Mayor’s Office Facebook Page that the city is aware of the narrow intersection at Hulman Drive and Fruitridge Avenue. Sakbun said the city plans to expand the roadway and add curbs and gutters to the area.
The work is expected to be complete in approximately three weeks.
The Terre Haute Street Department currently has cones placed at the intersection.
Sakbun said residents can expect those cones to stay in place in order to prevent accidents.
