TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the grand opening celebration of The Kasthamandap Grill in Terre Haute on Thursday.
The restaurant serves traditional Nepalese and Indian food.
Co-Owner Chandan (Dan) Buddhacharya says the food business has always been his passion and he’s excited to bring cuisine from his home country of Nepal to Terre Haute.
“The first visit, I fell in love with this town. I saw the Chinese restaurants, some Mexican restaurants, some Japanese [restaurants] even. I saw it can be a pretty diverse city,” said Buddhacharya.
