TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Hundreds of students attended the ISU career fair this afternoon.
The career fair was held at the Hulman Center. This event is one of the largest job and internship career fairs at Indiana State University. Over 140 companies from the state and hundreds of participants had booths set up to meet with the students who attended.
Executive Director of Career Services, Carrie Lutz says it not only helps students, but also employers.
“Life is about relationships, right? and the earlier that they can come and engage with employers in their institutional career the better, and same for employers right? They want to create an opportunity to share what they have going on at their entity, but then also over a period of time so it’s not just a one-hit, where you give your resume and then you’re hired.”>
ISU will also be hosting a graduate program fair on October 2nd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hulman Memorial Student Union.
