VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The 7th annual Festival Latino was held in Vincennes at Patrick Henry Square this weekend
The festival was filled with performances, salsa lessons, food vendors, and live entertainment for all to enjoy.
The event is put on every year by the Wabash Valley Progressives.
“It’s a great festivity just to enjoy the community,” said Vice President of the Festival Latino Committee, Fernando Lozano. “The community themselves helped us produce this event. It takes a little bit of money and a little bit of effort, but the community enjoys it and supports us.”
The Vice President also mentioned this festival is put on to appreciate and enjoy the music, food, and traditions of Latin America.
