BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) —The first of 13 new homes being built in a Clay County neighborhood is officially completed as part of Thrive West Central’s Homes for the Future project.
This is the first house of six that will be completed by the end of 2024 and Managing Broker for Emmert Realty Kim Emmert O’Dell said that this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of all of their partners.
“Partnering with Thrive has really improved our situation by helping us and having everyone out here today just shows us the support that they continue to have for us,” said Emmert O’Dell
The plan is for all of these houses to be listed between $260-300,000 which Thrive’s CEO Ryan Keller said is affordable to many of the residents in that area.
“We back all of our numbers with all of our builders and developers to make sure that the homes they are going to build are affordable to the majority of the population that they are targeting and making sure that they are priced right in that sweet spot to where they are going to sell and are going to move,” said Keller.
Keller said that their mission is to make the Wabash Valley a place where people want to stay.
“We are working together to continue to build regional momentum to let folks know that this is a great place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Keller.
Emmert O’Dell added that the other 7 houses coming to this neighborhood will be built in 2025.
