TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Ivy Tech Terre Haute/Greencastle has announced a new Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs effective in January of 2025.
Julie Will will succeed Deanna King, Ph. D., who will be retiring in January after over three decades with Ivy Tech Community College. Will also comes with her own share of expertise with over 22 years of experience in academic leadership. She most recently served as the campus’ strategic plan lead as well as Dean of the School of Health Sciences and the School of Public Affairs and Social Services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Julie into this vital leadership position,” said Lea Anne Crooks, Ph.D., chancellor of Ivy Tech Terre Haute/Greencastle. “Her vision and dedication will continue to drive innovation and excellence in our academic programs.”
Deanna King, Ph.D., made plenty of notable achievements in her time at Ivy Tech including transitioning the academic programs to 8-week courses and overseeing the shift to online learning during the pandemic. The school says her legacy will remain a cornerstone of Ivy Tech’s success across West Central Indiana.
