TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Wednesday afternoon Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity held a new home dedication for a mother and her two daughters.
This group is a nonprofit, community-based organization seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homeless in the Wabash Valley. The house has three bedrooms, two baths, all appliances, and costs $800 a month.
New owner Darian Perry said she is forever thankful for everyone that made this possible.
“It is a big purchase, and I am very thankful for this to happen before the holidays so that I can be moved in and spend Christmas with my girls together,” said Perry.
Officials said that there are two more homes being built by this organization right across the street from this one that will begin construction in the coming weeks.
