TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Matt Ames stopped by WTWO’s downtown bureau to speak with reporter Cole Nobbe on how roads are looking during the winter storm around 3:30 p.m.
Sgt. Ames said that road conditions on main roads are the safest but that secondary roads could be slick and that people should drive cautiously. Ames also said that accidents were already starting to pop up in Putnam County but that they had all hands on deck ready to assist during the situation. He warns if you have to go out call ahead to make sure the spot you’re going is open, have supplies, and make sure your phone is charged and your car is cleaned off.
