VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Vigo County Commissioners have moved the county to a ‘Travel Advisory” from a “Travel Watch.”
A Travel Advisory is the lowest level of local travel advisory, it means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
The advisory is set to expire at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
According to a release from the Vigo County Emergency Management Agency, the advisory is due to the previous winter storm and ongoing road-clearing activities.
Vigo County offices are set to reopen on Tuesday.
