TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Recently, numerous local businesses received American Rescue Plan Act funding through grants awarded by the United Way of the Wabash Valley and the City of Terre Haute.
One of these recipients, The Classic Man, received a grant for $98,000.
The Classic Man is a men’s clothing store who mission is to offer affordable clothing to men of all ages. This money is allowing them to expand to double the size they are now, add a barber shop, and increase the stores marketing.
Owner and CEO Tony Brewer said that they were already on an upward trajectory, and this will take them to the next level.
“We already had a trajectory that we were heading towards, but I think this is going to speed it up and allow us the opportunity to speed up the goals we had set and the trajectory we had for our business for the future,” said Brewer.
Contruction on the store’s expansion is scheduled to begin this month.
