ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Four individuals have been taken into custody for multiple felony charges after a traffic stop found methamphetamine, marijuana, several different pills and several paraphernalia items in their vehicle, according to the Rockville Police Department.
The police department said during a traffic stop on February 4, an officer observed a vehicle, carrying four passengers, commit multiple moving violations near the Rockville square. This prompted the officer to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle.
During the stop, the officer said they noted the driver “displayed behavior consistent with impairment,” leading to a K-9 being used to conduct an open-air sniff on the vehicle. That test gave a positive indication of drugs inside the vehicle.
“The officer and deputies searched the vehicle and found substances that appeared to be methamphetamine, marijuana, several different pills, and several paraphernalia items,” said the Rockville Police Department.
After further questioning of the suspects, the police department determined that two of the four passengers of the vehicle were staying at a local motel, and after obtaining a search warrant for that room officers found “multiple paraphernalia items and more substances believed to be illegal drugs.”
The following individuals were booked into the Parke County Jail and charged with:
Rocky Crowder – charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony).
Tran Kleiner – charged with possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), possession of a narcotic drug (level 6 felony), maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substances (level 6 felony), possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Tanya Kleiner – charged with possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), possession of a narcotic drug (level 6 felony), maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substances (level 6 felony), possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Robert Csernelabics – charged with possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), possession of a narcotic drug (level 6 felony), maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substances (level 6 felony) and possession of paraphernalia.
All four individuals have their initial hearings scheduled for February 10. WTWO/WAWV has reached out for the status of these hearings and are still waiting for that information.
