TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Terre Haute Children’s Museum has announced its newest event that is fun for the whole family.
The event is called Theater of Illusions: The Mysteries of Jason. The event claims to educate people on how science and illusions coexist. Mysteries of Jason will have two shows of his magic act at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the museum on March 1. Jason is a professional magician and he will show the science behind his illusions. That isn’t the only part of the event. The shows are a part of a larger illusion that will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room located on the third floor.
This program is a part of the “Hands-On Science” series at the museum designed to inspire a love of science through interactive learning experiences. Admission is free for members and costs $9 for the general public. All activities for the event are included in admission. Tickets for the Mysteries of Jason shows are on a first-come, first-served basis. Members can reserve tickets currently and others will be able to purchase theirs Saturday if they are still available. For more information, you can visit their website, or contact Laurel Tincher at 812-235-5548 extension 227, or at programs@thchildrensmuseum.com.
