WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Thursday evening, the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual dinner and awards ceremony.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of several awards on businesses or individuals who made impacts in the community. Some examples of those awards were, “small business of the year” and “business of the year”. Those were awarded to Graber’s Handcrafted Furniture and Taber Owens Construction respectively.
This event gave attendees the opportunity to connect with local leaders, gain valuable insights, and celebrate the community’s achievements.
“It’s important as you know, as anytime we work real hard like these businesses do, that they put so much into their business, put into their people, and put into their community. It’s a great opportunity for us to recognize them.” said Daviess County Chamber of Commerce executive Director Joe Morris.
