UPDATE: The water in Bruceville is back on, but a boil order will be in place until they receive two clean samples of water, according to Brandon Riggle, President of the Bruceville Town Board.
BRUCEVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A fire in Bruceville, Wednesday night, has caused multiple holes in a waterline, prompting water to be shut off until further notice, according to Brandon Riggle, President of the Bruceville Town Board.
Riggle said the affected areas are from the water tower on Main Street to Pierce Road. This includes the North Knox Intermediate School, which closed due to the outage.
It is unknown when the water will be turned back on, but Riggle said when it is, a boil order will be put in place.
