UPDATE: A tornado warning is in effect for Lawrence, Martin and Monroe Counties until 5:15 a.m. EST Saturday.
UPDATE: A tornado warning has been placed in effect in the Southeastern portions of Daviess County and Southern Martin County. The tornado warning will be in effect until 4:45 A.M. EST. This includes the cities of Alfordsville, Loogootee, Lost River and Reeve.
UPDATE: Southwestern Vigo County and Northern Sullivan County have been placed under a tornado warning until 3:30 a.m. EST, Saturday. Chief Meteorologist Jesse Walker says the storm is moving Northeast at around 60 miles per hour.
UPDATE: A radar indicated tornado warning has been observed in Clark and Crawford Counties, Illinois. This includes the cities of Hutsonville, Oblong, Robinson and Stoy. The warning is in place until 2:30 am CDT, Saturday.
UPDATE: Newton and Oblong Illinois have also been placed under a radar-indicated tornado warning until 2 a.m. CDT.
CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A radar-indicated Tornado Warning has been issued in parts of Fountntain, Parke and Vermillion Counties, Indina, until 2:45 a.m. EST. Chief Meteorologist Jesse Walker says the storm is moving at 65 miles per hour and has shown circulation on the radar near Clinton.
Meterologist Julia Pricket is in Clinton following the storm and reports that part of Clinton has lost power. Duke Energy’s Rick Burger says 4,500 are out of power in the Vigo County area as of 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
