TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Thursday evening, the Vigo County CASA held a fundraising event at a local restaurant.
Dine to Donate was hosted at Texas Roadhouse, located in Terre Haute. Funds raised during this event are used for CASA’s programs throughout the year. It is also used on items for children in need. Supervisor of CASA Janet Hoff said it’s important to help the children of the community.
“Vigo County has a very substantially high rate of children that are abused and neglected,” said Hoff. “We’re always looking to do is obtain some fundraising help. This year especially, we’ve had some cutbacks. So, this is very important in that respect.”
