TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local organization that works to educate the community about sustainability invites you to join them for a block party.
reTHink in Terre Haute is holding its second annual Earth Day Block Party on Saturday, May 17, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free food, vendors, music, and fun activities for the whole family. Operations Manager Jenny Powell said it’s a great opportunity for people to learn what reTHink offers, such as their zero-waste store.
“People will be able to come in and explore,” said Powell. “We will have our upcycle plastic workshop open for people to take tours. And of course, the garden is starting to bloom already, and so people can enjoy that.”
reTHink is located at 1544 South 13th Street in Terre Haute.
