TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Farmer’s Market returns to the parking lot of the Meadows Shopping Center Saturday with a new incentive.
According to organizers, new this year, the market will accept SNAP benefits while providing a nutrition incentive to “double up.” Market-wide, this will allow for double power for fruits and vegetables with SNAP benefits. Approved vendors will also accept the electronic WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program.
The market happens all summer on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon through October 18.
