TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Tuesday evening, the Time Travelers Club visited an iconic building in Terre Haute.
The Sycamore Building is the tallest building from here to St. Louis. This event is an open house-style event to show a behind-the-scenes look at the downtown landmark. Those who attended also got to go to the rooftop for some unforgettable views of the city.
Carrie Clarke has owned the building for over a year and she said it’s a special place.
“Just being able to be a part of that next generation to take care of such a building. Everybody in this building loves it and appreciates it. it’s a building that once you’re in I don’t think you want to leave.”
