VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vincennes University Board of Trustees have voted unanimously to freeze tuition rates for the 2025-2025 and 2026-2027 school years.
The university said this decision reinforces its mission of making high-quality education accessible and affordable for all.
“Vincennes University’s 0% tuition increase applies to all students–resident and non-resident alike,” said Vincennes University President Dr. Chuck Johnson
“Vincennes University’s tuition freeze is more than a financial decision. It’s a mission-driven choice to remove barriers and expand opportunity. We know that college costs can make or break a student’s decision to pursue a degree or certificate. This decision is one of many ways VU shows up for students and families, balancing dreams with budgets,” said Board of Trustees Chairman Mike Sievers.
Alongside the tuition freeze, the university said the trustees have also approved a biennial budget of $340.9 million for fiscal years 2025-2027.
