INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— CenterPoint Energy launched a new app for its customers in Indiana that will allow them to manage their account and more.
The app will be usable for both customers in Indiana and Ohio. This will be the first time customers will have a dedicated app since the retirement of the legacy Vectren mobile app in July of 2024.
“At CenterPoint, we continue to explore various ways to connect with our customers and provide updated mobile-friendly tools to enhance their user experience. Through the new CenterPoint Energy app, customers can conveniently manage their accounts and receive important alerts directly to their smart devices,” said Tony Gardner, CenterPoint’s Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. “We look forward to continuing to provide tools that help us better serve our customers in managing their bills and energy use.”
The new app will allow customers a secure login using facial or fingerprint access in your device’s settings. It will also let customers access their billing info, set bill pay reminders, pay their bill with a variety of options, including Apple Pay, allow them to save multiple payment options, and request extensions.
Customers will also be able to check their energy usage data. You will be able to check energy use over time to better understand patterns and identify ways to save energy and reduce your monthly costs.
You can find the app on Google Play and the App Store by searching CenterPoint Energy My Account. You can learn more about the app by clicking here.
