ODON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Disaster Loan Outreach Center at the Odon Community Center will be permanently closed on Thursday, July 31, according to a press release.
The Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC)—located at 311 Park Street, Odon— was established on July 23 following severe storms and flooding that occurred from June 28 to July 2.
The DLOC was operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to assist residents in Daviess, Dubios, Greene, Knox, Martin and Park Counties in filling out claims for businesses and residents who qualified for low-interest disaster loans.
Even though the center is closing July 31, applicants can still call the SBA Customer Service Center with questions regarding their application at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
Those who still wish to apply for the loans have until September 16 to return applications for physical property damage. Those who are seeking Economic Injury Loans have until April 20. Small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, and most private nonprofit organizations located in the six-county area that have suffered substantial economic injury from the storm may be eligible for an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan.
