TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Wabash Valley Community Foundation is holding a free Estate Planning Seminar—in Sullivan, Vigo, and Clay counties— that plans to help community members plan their legacy and ensure their affairs are in order.
The informative seminar is designed to equip attendees with strategies and tools to help them take inventory of their assets, understand key legal documents such as wills and beneficiary designations, learn how to work effectively with trusted advisors, and explore charitable planning options.
The seminar will take place at the following locations and times:
Sullivan County:
- Tuesday, August 19 at 5:30 p.m.
- Westside Church located at 949 West County Road 200 North, Sullivan.
Vigo County:
- Wednesday, August 20 at 12:00 p.m.
- Wabash Valley Community Foundation located at 200 South 8th Street, Terre Haute.
Clay County:
- Wednesday, August 20 at 5:30 PM
- Brazil Public Library located at 204 North Walnut Street, Brazil.
The seminar will be led by Attorney Phil Purcell. Purcell brings over 30 years of experience conducting estate planning seminars not only in Indiana but over the entire United States. He currently serves as the Director of Planning for The Salvation Army’s Central Territory.
