LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The community of Linton came together on Tuesday to celebrate the retirement of a longtime business owner.
The community said a final farewell to Bryan Correll, the owner of Correll’s LP Gas Incorporated. He is retiring after 42 years. The business has been in Linton for 79 years, and Bryan is the third-generation owner. It has now been sold to Keystone Cooperative.
Today, Correll took time to appreciate the customers and employees he’s had over the years, as they celebrated his retirement. Correll said, even in retirement, he’ll still stay busy.
“I’ve got two grandchildren, I’ve got my hot rod cars I’ll play with, muscle cars, I’m still on four committees here in Linton, which is good, and church and such, so yeah, I will stay plenty busy. With my wife, we’ll be traveling,” said Correll
Correll told WTWO the thing he’ll miss the most is the people.
