TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One man was arrested after making shooting threats to a woman and employees of her workplace in Terre Haute.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. the Terre Haute Police Department (THPD) was advised of a male suspect making threats toward employees of a local business while in the parking lot. Officers quickly detained the suspect and was found in possession of a handgun located in his vehicle.
According to a Facebook post from THPD, a preliminary investigation revealed the suspect became upset with the woman who went to work, instead of staying home like the male demanded. The suspect then threatened to shoot her fellow employees if she in fact went to work.
THPD was contacted while staff moved to a safe location inside the store.
August D. Lenges, 26, of Terre Haute has been charged with Felony Intimidation.
