CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people are dead and two people were transported to a hospital following a head-on collision in Clark County on Friday night.
According to the Illinois State Police, a car was traveling eastbound on West Lincoln Street in Westfield, Illinois, before the driver crossed into the westbound lane and hit a car head-on.
Authorities state that two people were pronounced dead on-scene, and two other people were transported to the hospital with injuries.
ISP said the roadway was closed for an investigation until almost 1 a.m. on Saturday.
All lanes are currently back open.
