TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Applications for the Terre Haute Police Department opened on February 1st, 2020.
The process to join the department includes: a background check, physical testing, and written testing.
The individuals who move on, will be reviewed by the THPD Civilian Merit Commission.
After getting hired on, the new officers go through months of training.
