A fourth grade class at Hoosier Prairie Elementary and Terre Haute South craft students worked on a project.
The elementary students drew a picture and wrote a description of a monster.
One set of high school students tried to re-create the monster from the drawing, while the other set of high school students tried to re-create the monster from the written description.
The goal was for the elementary school students to understand the importance of descriptive writing.
If they did a good job with their writing, the two monsters would look similar.
