CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A new sign in the Wabash Valley will welcome people to the city of Clinton.
The Rediscover Clinton organization unveiled the new digital sign on Wednesday. It’s located in front of Central Elementary and acts as a community calendar to keep people up to date on happenings in the city.
The goal is to give visitors a warm welcome, while helping local organizations and businesses.
“This sign is actually replacing an old vinyl lettering sign that we maintained for the last few years,” says Rediscover Clinton President Dylan Riggen. “I think it’s important because visually it’s very stunning and attractive, and it’s an opportunity for local businesses and non-profits to advertise their upcoming events and their businesses.”
The project was a collaborative effort between Rediscover Clinton, the City of Clinton, Ace Sign and Awning, and Duke Energy.
