EDGAR COUNTY., Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Area residents are hoping to create change through voluntary community clean-ups.
Phillip Stapp, of Paris, Ill., co-founded Be the Change. The group is designed to encourage community members to pick up trash along sidewalks and busy roadways in Edgar County.
“Basically, my goal is to make a network of people that care, and want to make a difference and want to make things better,” he said.
Be the Change is hosting a community clean-up on April 3.
