TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local business held a ribbon cutting Thursday.
Missy’s and Sissy’s Treasures is an antique shop that specializes in primitive and mid-century furniture and collectibles. They are now located in the 500 block of North 13th Street in Terre Haute.
Owners Jeff Blake and Missy Schaumleffel are long-time business partners who have sold antiques and collectibles in multiple locations before opening this new location.
We had so much fun working together, sharing the same passions, and selling our items, that we quickly expanded to Antiques at the Meadows, then Glendy’s Uptown Mall, and finally Shady Lane Antique Mall. For the past three years we both shared the dream about running our own place, and said that if we ever found the perfect place for a shop, we would branch out on our own. 569 N. 13th Street was the perfect place!
