TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In just a few short days, music will fill the streets of downtown Terre Haute.
The 2022 Blues At the Crossroads Festival is this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9th-10th.
On Friday, festivities kick off at 5 p.m. and then at 4 p.m. the following day.
Each day will feature 11 bands. There will be two outdoor stages, an indoor stage, kids zone and more.
Money raised supports a program that provides musical instruments to Vigo County School children.
“I think it’s proven that music helps kids not only with their studies, but it helps them emotionally. They feel part of a group and really, I mean, think music is the one thing that brings us all together,” Event Organizer, Connie Wrin, said.
