TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — After an initial community census reportedly went well for the Terre Haute Chamber, organizers are once again asking for the public’s input.
The Chamber, along with people behind the See You in Terre Haute Community Plan are surveying people that are part of four distinct populations; Terre Haute residents, college students, high school students and visitors to Terre Haute.
The Chamber initially asked for input in April as part of the first-ever Terre Haute Community Census Day. Organizers report that the census will be taken bi-annually, with initial respondents encouraged to fill out the survey yet again.
The upcoming census day will be held on October 26. People who fill out the survey by that date will be entered into a drawing for up to $250 in gift cards.
Officials from the Chamber advise that the survey is ongoing, and people who fill it out following October 26th will have their information included in the upcoming spring 2023 Community Census Day.
