TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An upcoming pub house that’s giving new life to a historic building in downtown Terre Haute is ready to celebrate its grand opening.
The Terminal Public House officially opens Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. It’s run by the owners of Charlie’s Pub House.
Cheyne O’laughlin says the menu will be similar to Charlie’s, but because the terminal has a bigger kitchen, they’ll also be able to offer items like pasta, steak, and pork chops.
O’laughlin explained when they first came to the building it needed a lot of love and credits his wife’s vision for making it a reality. He says it’s been a great experience and the community has been excited.
“Super opportunity to work on an amazing historic building. It seems like the right place at the right time for downtown with everything happening in the community, being near ISU, just everything kind of felt like it lined up, like the stars aligned for it,” O’laughlin said.
The hours will be 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Mondays – Thursdays, and Fridays and Saturdays will be 11 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
While it won’t be open on Sundays, O’laughlin said they plan to offer Sunday brunch hours in the near future.
