TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— In just a few days, local restaurants will serve up some special menu items for a two-week annual summertime event.
The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce announced the 8th annual Taste Terre Haute. The event will start on Monday, July 17, and will run through July 29.
Participating businesses will showcase signature items, while some will try something new by offering a Taste Terre Haute event-exclusive menu item. Taste Terre Haute encourages people to explore local restaurants and their offerings.
“We have such a good response. I know several colleges get into it and bring fun groups that just like to tour the different restaurants in town to see what they like, what they don’t like. We also have, you know, just the general community that likes to get out in support of our local restaurants,” said Lindsey English, membership and programs coordinator for the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce.
Sponsoring this year’s event is Great Dane of Terre Haute.
