TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local favorite makes its anticipated return to Terre Haute.
The Terre Haute Farmers Market opened Saturday near the Meadows Shopping Center. Over 40 vendors have registered to set up shop, and the weather was phenomenal. Outdoor events like these bring so much to the community, and market manager Carrie Schoffstall says it brings everyone together.
“It creates community,” she said. “It allows people of all ages and different interests and everything just to gather together for a common cause to listen to some live music, to meet new people, to walk their dogs and play with their kids.”
The items being sold include food, plants, household items and much more. The local businesses are customer-friendly and make a great environment for all.
The farmers market will return each Saturday morning from now until the end of October.
