ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The bicentennial celebrations continue in Rockville as there will be a fun event this Saturday at Rockville Lake Park.
It is going to include fireworks, bounce houses, vendors, a DJ, and a live band. All of these activities will be available at 5 p.m. with the fireworks beginning at dusk.
Rockville Lake Park manager Chris Newcomb explains why he loves hosting events at the park.
“I just love meeting new people, it is one of my joys,” he said. “I like seeing how happy the kids are that day and it is just a fun event for everyone.”
The city of Rockville also matched the park’s $7,500 towards the fireworks show to further enhance this celebration.
