BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Its fair time in Greene County.
Like many other communities the Greene County Fair is in full swing. Over the last two weeks they have had a jam packed schedule full of 4-H fun. The fair includes both building projects and live stock projects by the Greene County youth.
The fair is a time for green county 4-H-ers to show off the hard work they put in this year. Wednesday night the fair held a Sheep show. Other events Wednesday included, mud volleyball and a pig wrestling contest.
President of Greene County 4-H, Juli Huffman said the fair is family time.
“The fair is very much a family time and a family motivated organization. It’s a lot of fun to get with your cousins and friends, different people that you don’t get to see all year long and work towards a common goal.”
The fair will be wrapping up this Friday July 19.
