SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Preparations are in full swing in Sullivan as they prepare for the annual Corn Festival.
This will be the 68th year of this event being put on by the Sullivan Rotary Club. There will be lots of rides and food.
Plus, many people will be able to enjoy live entertainment each night, including many different popular local cover bands. All of the fun wraps up Saturday with the parade, followed by the free corn feed.
Entertainment Chair for the Corn Festival Steve Simmons said this gives the community the chance to all come together.
“It is kind of a homecoming,” said Simmons. “It is a tradition, and it brings people in from all over the state along with it being one of the oldest festivals in the state.”
The festival will kick off this Wednesday the 18th and run through Saturday the 21st.
